Exciting updates are underway at Bay Colony Park, bringing fresh energy and improved accessibility to this beloved community space!

Families will soon enjoy a brand-new, multi-featured playset and swing bay, connected by a smooth ADA-accessible sidewalk from York Lane. To ensure everyone can access the park comfortably, a new ADA-compliant picnic table will be added, along with relocated existing tables placed in shaded areas for extra comfort. Park access is being thoughtfully redesigned with a new pedestrian and vehicle entrance, relocating the maintenance access and adding a swing gate at the northwest corner.

The current maintenance access point will become a pedestrian-only entrance enhanced with new timber guardrail. Cyclists will appreciate the addition of a convenient bike rack.

To improve the landscape and provide future shade for spectators, several canopy trees are being planted. Existing bleachers will be repositioned slightly in concert with these new trees, ensuring a more enjoyable viewing experience for all.

These thoughtful enhancements underscore our dedication to making Bay Colony Park a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant community asset—while also complementing the area's rich tradition of field sports and community recreation.
