A one-day festival to celebrate all things fall is coming to Mount Trashmore! Join us from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Join us for a day full of fun and festivities at the 3rd annual Autumn in the Air hosted by Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation! Bring your friends and family to experience the vibrant sounds of folk, americana, and rock bands, while enjoying exciting activities for all ages!
Things to Know Before You Go
- Free admission and free parking.
- Seating is limited.
- Guests may bring lawn chairs, blankets, non-alcoholic beverages and outside food in the event area. Tents are not permitted in the event area.
- Food and beverage available for purchase. Cash and credit card accepted.
- Guests can expect bags and small coolers to be checked at entrances. Large coolers are not permitted.
- Alcohol purchased must remain the designated perimeter.

Food & Drinks
Savor delicious bites from local food vendors and quench your thirst with non-alcoholic beverages. Adult beverages available to purchase from Voodoo Brewing Co – Virginia Beach (valid ID required).

Did you know November is the best time to plant trees? Come meet the VB Parks & Rec Arborist and Horticulture Team and their community partners to learn about the importance of trees in our community and take part in hands-on activities celebrating nature’s giants.
Stroll through the Resource & Vendor Village comprised of nature-based organizations and handcrafted fall-themed vendors. It’s a charming destination for friends and family to shop, learn, and connect with the community.
- Application deadline: Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, 11:59 p.m. unless spaces are filled, whichever comes first.
- The Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Autumn in the Air event committee reserves the right to determine who will be accepted as a vendor. Applying does not guarantee approval or participation in the festival. To be considered, organizations or businesses must align with:
- Handcrafted Fall-Themed Vendors: Artisans who create their own products including ceramics, artwork, apparel, woodwork, jewelry, home décor, candles, soaps, and other handmade seasonal gifts.
- Fall/Harvest-Themed Businesses: Vendors offering products, displays, demonstrations or experiences that celebrate the autumn season, harvest traditions, outdoor living, or seasonal décor.
- Food Vendors: Food trucks and pre-packaged specialty foods such as baked goods, popcorn, nuts, candies, jams, honey, coffee, cocoa, spices, and similar items. Preference may be given to vendors who offer seasonal flavors or unique culinary experiences.
- Vendor fees
- Food vendors: 10% of Gross Sales ($150.00 deposit required upon acceptance)
- Non-food vendors (10x10 space): $75
- Pumpkin bowling, ring toss and tic tac toe
- Sensory zone offered by the VB Parks & Recreation Therapeutic and Inclusion team
- Teeny Tiny Farm petting zoo
