City View Park, near the junction of Centerville Turnpike and Kempsville Park, is a 43-acre park with shady trails, ball fields, open fields, and playgrounds. A paved trail loops through the park, and a natural, soft trail in the woods is ideal for a short walk, or birding - the park is especially active during migratory seasons.
In the east end of the park, you'll also find 'Seagrass and Lily,' a recent art installation by May + Watkins Design.

The large picnic shelter in the east end of the park (labeled # 2 on the map) can accommodate up to 100 people and is available to rent. Please call 757-385-PARK (7275) for reservations.
The shelter features 12 tables, a grill, and is conveniently located near bathrooms, a playground, and walking paths. Electricity is available at this shelter.
