The new Sprayground is expected to open soon!
The park is home to the city's first public sprayground, making it a standout destination for families during the summer months. Sports enthusiasts will find two full-sized basketball courts, while younger visitors can enjoy a dedicated playground area.
For pet owners, the park features two fenced-in dog parks, providing a safe space for dogs to roam and play off-leash. Paved trails weave throughout the park, perfect for walking or leisurely strolls. A future wildflower meadow is also planned, which will feature a mix of native flowers and trees, adding a natural and scenic element to the park landscape. A restroom is available on site for visitors' convenience.

Hours & conditions
- Open 9 a.m. to sunset, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- Weekends only in May and September.
- Sprayground opens only when the air temperature is 75°F or higher.
Use & Access
- Open to all ages. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Parents and caregivers are responsible for children's safety and behavior.
- Water shoes or non-slip footwear are recommended.
- For human use only — no pets.
Safe Behavior
- No running, rough play, or water balloons.
- Use equipment for its intended purpose only. No swinging, climbing, hanging, or pulling.
- Do not drink, spit, or swallow sprayground water.
- Take regular bathroom breaks and stay out of the water if sick.
- Anyone with diarrhea, open wounds, or a communicable disease should not use the sprayground.
- Children who are not toilet-trained must wear swim diapers.
Food & Beverages
- Plastic bottles are permitted.
- No food, other beverages, or glass on the sprayground.
Closures
- The sprayground may close for inclement weather, including thunder and lightning, and will close if a bathroom accident occurs in the water.
