LeRoi “Tre’” Hill is the program coordinator of the Teen Media Studio located at Williams Farm Recreation Center and is a resident of Hampton, Virginia.
Born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma, he matriculated through the Choctaw/Nicoma Park Public School System until 10th grade when his family moved to Suffolk, Va., and he subsequently graduated from Nansemond River High School. From there, he attained his Bachelor’s Degree from the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, located in Greensboro, NC.
A multi-instrumentalist, in addition to overseeing the operation of the media studio, Tre’ also serves as Minister of Music for his church in Suffolk and has served in the capacity of Musical Director, and sometimes cast member, for numerous community theatrical productions, such as “Once on This Island,” “Fame”, “Annie,” and “The Lion King,” and even hosts his own podcast.
He lives his life according to this particular creed: “We are not here to make a living, but to live our making; and in living our making, we make our living.”
