Kempsville Recreation Center, located just off Princess Anne Road, originally opened in 1977 as Virginia Beach's first community recreation center. Renovated in 2017, the 87,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility features an indoor pool with a play structure and aqua track, an indoor track, a double gym with basketball courts and more.
