All City of Virginia Beach administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12, in observance of the Columbus Day and Yorktown Victory Day holidays. However, all community recreation centers, parks and park facilities will be open regular hours. Please view the City's operating schedule for more details.

Forever Young members enjoy a chance to get out and socialize with others at special events and activities like picnics in the park, holiday celebrations, dances and plays.

Meals

Lunch is available at Bayside Recreation Center through Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia (SSSV). All you have to do is fill out an intake form. You're responsible for ordering your lunch on a weekly basis; orders can be made at the center in person or by phone for you and your spouse. (Please call and cancel if you know you will not be attending on a day that you have ordered lunch.)

You are entitled to one lunch a day, which you must come eat at the center. A donation is requested for the lunch.
