Staffing Shortage

Due to continued hiring challenges being faced by contracted officials organizations, schools and Parks and Recreation, league maximum capacities will continue to be impacted. Due to these reduced capacities, leagues have been filling prior to registration end dates. 

If your desired division is filled, please contact Sports Management at (757) 385-0458 to be added to a waiting list or if you have any additional questions. Register early for the best opportunity to play.

Age Divisions

  • 10U (ages 8-10)
  • 13U (ages 11-13)

Note: The player's age as of September 30 of the current school year determines eligibility (see bylaws for further details).​

  • Registration: June 19 - July 21 | $75
  • A waiting list for interested players will be available after July 21 and/or should divisions close out prior to July 21. A registration fee of $75 will be required for any individuals who are placed on a team.
  • Registration is taken on an individual basis. Online registration is available (debit/credit cards accepted)
  • Open to all residents and non-residents of Virginia Beach.
  • Each player must pay a registration fee to participate.
  • During the individual player registration, a preferred coach or team can be requested (but not guaranteed).
  • Sports Management will assign players to teams based on residence, school attendance, and/or preferred coach or team during registration.
  • Leagues are subject to close-out prior to the last day of registration.
  • NO player(s) shall play on more than one team in the Coed Flag Football League.
  • Uniforms (t-shirts) will be provided.

Current Season Information

  • Practice Starts: Aug. 1
  • Season: Begins Friday, Sept. 1.
  • 6 game season (plus playoffs for qualifying teams).
  • Games will be played on Fridays at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex. When necessary, make-up games may be rescheduled on alternate nights.
  • Mouthpiece and shorts/pants without pockets are required.
  • 13U League will play games on an 80-yard field.
  • 10U League will play games on a 40-yard field (one-way). See bylaws for more details.
