Lynnhaven Boat Ramp & Beach Facility
The boat ramp features four concrete boat launch lanes with associated temporary mooring areas, a canoe/kayak launch area, and vehicle boat trailer parking spaces.
All City of Virginia Beach community recreation centers will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and remain closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25 for the Christmas holiday. City parks will be open from sunrise to noon on Dec. 24 and closed on Dec. 25. All recreation centers and parks will reopen with normal operating hours on Thursday, Dec. 26.

The boat ramp features four concrete boat launch lanes with associated temporary mooring areas, a canoe/kayak launch area, vehicle boat trailer parking spaces, lighting, restrooms with shower and foot rinse areas, changing areas, car parking for beach access, an information kiosk, a public use AED, vending machine and ice sales, and a walkway (under the Lesner Bridge) to the Ocean Park Beach Area on the Chesapeake Bay.
3576 Piedmont Circle | Provides access to the Lynnhaven River and the Chesapeake Bay. *There are limited vehicle parking spaces. In order to park a kayak trailer in trailer parking, payment of launch fees is required. From the parking area, you will need to transport your canoe/kayak approximately 10 yards.
$20 without a saltwater fishing license, $10 with a saltwater fishing license.
$150 valid for one year from the purchase date.
$4 per vehicle *Note: All fees are subject to change; boat launch fee and annual launch pass include parking for one truck and trailer. Parking Meters at the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp and Beach Facility are enforced seven days a week, from April 1 through Oct. 31.
