Program Details

The program is a two-year commitment where organizations, groups, businesses, families, and individuals (18 years of age and older) agree to perform a minimum of six cleanups per year in their adopted area. Various volunteer programs include:

  • Roadway: A minimum ½ mile section of primary, secondary or residential streets will be eligible for adoption which includes sidewalks on both sides. Adopt-a-Road

  • Park: Most parks are eligible for adoption. Adopt-a-Park

  • Trail: Section that includes 5-10 ft. on both sides of the trail. These areas are very limited. Adopt-a-Trail

  • Waterway: City-owned Canoe/Kayak Launches. Canoes and kayaks should be owned by the volunteer, and the volunteer should be experienced in their use and limitations. These areas are very limited. Adopt-a-Waterway
