One of the community priorities for Parks & Recreation is to ensure the accessibility of programs for all residents. The Foundation is proud to support the Community Care Fund administered by Parks & Recreation.
The program is designed for families who, without financial assistance, could not participate in the department’s activities or enjoy membership in the City’s recreation centers. For residents who qualify, the scholarship fund can be used one time per individual for memberships, classes, or camps.
To date, the program has sponsored thousands of residents for rec center memberships, summer camps, swim lessons, early childhood childcare programs, and classes such as ballet and hip hop. But the Foundation needs your help to continue funding these residents in need. Let’s give them the gift of recreation.
