League Capacities

Due to continued hiring challenges being faced by contracted officials organizations, schools and Parks and Recreation, league maximum capacities will continue to be impacted. Due to these reduced capacities, leagues have been filling prior to registration end dates. If your desired division is filled, please contact Sports Management at (757) 385-0458 to be added to a waiting list or if you have any additional questions. Register early for the best opportunity to play.

Game Bats

Bats that have one or more of the stamps but are listed on the “ASA Non-Approved Bat List” are illegal and may not be used in Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation Leagues. This list is subject to change throughout the season.

Questions regarding bat legality that arise during a game will be decided by the umpire(s). For more information on bats and other certified equipment, visit the USA Softball Certified Equipment page.
